  1. This book isn't a beach read, but I know that I'm going to need water to cool off after reading it. Wicked Nights (Angels of the Dark) by Gena Showalter, I can't wait!

  8. I prefer beach reads to be light and fun...with very little to no angst for that reason I recommend any of the Samhain's Midsummer Night Steam stories. My two favorites are Custom Ride by K.A. Mitchell and Taboo Desires by Amanda Young....okay and Nut Cream by Jade Buchannan...and while you're at it you should read Catching a Buzz by Ally Blue...okay, okay just read them all. They're great!!

  11. Suite Venitienne by Sophie Calle is a pretty cool book. It's a true story of how she meets a man whom she finds "neither attractive nor interesting" at a party, and decides to follow him on his upcoming trip to Venice. It's very brief, but memorable.
